RoleYou will be teaching an ELC (Early Learning and Childcare) class of children between 3 to 5 years old.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Victorian (Australian) curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well-being
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success
- Participate in professional development opportunities
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity
- Bachelors / Post-graduate studies in education / relevant teaching subject
- Valid teaching licence and current registration (e.g. VIT, QTS) preferred
- 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at relevant age range
- Experience with the Australian Curriculum is advantageous but not essential
- Dynamic and creative approach to teaching and motivatingstudents
