Strategic Leadership & Administration

• Develop and implement the library's strategic plan in alignment with the university's mission.
• Formulate policies and procedures to enhance library operations and services.
• Manage the library budget, including resource acquisition, staffing, and technology upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with national and international accreditation standards.
• Represent the library in institutional committees and professional associations.

• Oversee acquisition, organization, and preservation of physical and digital collections.
• Ensure access to high-quality scholarly databases, e-books, and journals.
• Develop a digitization strategy to enhance accessibility and resource-sharing.
• Collaborate with faculty to support curriculum needs through specialized resources.

• Implement and manage an Integrated Library System (ILS).
• Drive the adoption of AI, automation, and emerging technologies in library services.
• Oversee the development of institutional repositories and open-access initiatives.
• Enhance library cybersecurity and data management policies.

• Design and deliver user‑centric library services to students and faculty.
• Promote information literacy programs to improve research skills.
• Organize workshops, seminars, and academic events to foster learning.
• Establish partnerships with other academic institutions and professional bodies.

• Recruit, train, and evaluate library staff to maintain a high-performance team.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
• Promote inclusivity, diversity, and accessibility in library services.

• Provide research support services, including bibliometric analysis and citation management.
• Collaborate with faculty and researchers in publishing and open-access initiatives.

• Ph.D in Library and Information Science.
• 20 Years of Professional Library Experience, includes Leadership & Management, Academic Library Operations, Digital & Electronic Resources, Strategic Planning, Research Support, Collaboration & Partnerships, Accreditation & Compliance, Communication & Advocacy.
