- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a relevant subject area
- Demonstrable experience teaching within the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)
- Experience supporting or leading the PYP Exhibition would be a distinct advantage
- Strong curriculum planning and assessment skills within a PYP context
- Excellent classroom management and the ability to differentiate effectively for a range of learners
- A collaborative approach to planning and professional development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with students, families, and colleagues
- A commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning
- Ability to build positive, respectful relationships with students from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Understand and adhere to international best practice in child protection and safeguarding
- Maintain professional boundaries and model positive, respectful relationships with students at all times
- Be vigilant in identifying and responding appropriately to any welfare concerns
- Complete all required safeguarding training as directed by the school
- Understand duty to report concerns through the correct channels, both within the school and to external agencies if necessary
- Contribute to a culture where students feel safe, heard, and valued
