Secondary Maths Teacher East Coast

Position Title

MATHS TEACHER FOR AUGUST 2026. Must be able to teach G7‑12 for the 2026‑2027 academic year, with the school offering up to Grade 10.

Well‑established international school on the eastern coast of the UAE in Sharjah, offering education from the early years through to secondary level. The school follows the Australian Victorian curriculum, focusing on strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and inquiry‑based learning, while encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and independence.

Teach mathematics to students in grades 7‑12 (and up to Grade 10 for the 2026‑2027 year). Plan lessons aligned with the Victorian curriculum, differentiate instruction, manage classrooms effectively, and engage students in inquiry‑based learning.

• Australian curriculum experience preferred; other curriculum experience (NZ, UK, IRE) welcomed.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (less experience may be considered on a case‑by‑case basis).
• Preferred registration as a professional teacher (e.g., VIT, QTS).
• Relevant teaching qualification (minimum Bachelor’s degree) that matches the age range or subject to be taught.
• Strong classroom management, differentiation, and engagement skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding issues.
