Position Summary
Secondary Biology Teacher needed in Sharjah starting August 2026. The role involves teaching general science to secondary students within a well‑established international school that blends the American curriculum and IB programmes from KG to Grade 12.
Qualifications- Qualified teacher status
- At least 2 years post‑qualifying experience (as per Ministry regulations)
- Willingness to work in a 100% ESL learning environment
- Experience with American Curriculum, especially Common Core (preferred)
- Strong academic background in content knowledge
- Collaborative and collegial approach
- Assessment literacy and data‑driven instruction
- Skill in differentiating and engaging students
- Technologically proficient
Teach secondary biology (and some general science) within the American and IB frameworks, collaborate with colleagues, use data to drive instruction, design differentiated lessons, and engage students with effective instructional strategies.
