Position Overview
Secondary Chemistry Teacher needed in Sharjah for a well‑established international school offering American curriculum and IB programmes from KG to Grade 12. The role involves teaching secondary chemistry in a diverse, 100% ESL learning environment with modern facilities and a focus on academic achievement.
Responsibilities- Plan, deliver, and assess chemistry lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum, sharing best practices.
- Use data to drive instruction and support student learning.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Employ instructional, assessment, and technological strategies that engage students.
- Qualified teacher status and at least 2 years of post‑qualifying experience (Ministry regulations).
- Experience teaching in an American curriculum setting (Common Core preferred).
- Strong academic background in chemistry content.
- Collaborative, collegial, and assessment‑literate.
- Technologically proficient.
- AED 15,810 per month, tax‑free.
