- Assist the lead teacher in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities to ensure an engaging learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one support to students addressing their unique learning needs and helping them grasp complex concepts.
- Monitor student behavior and participation promoting a positive classroom atmosphere through encouragement and guidance.
- Help manage classroom logistics including organizing supplies and maintaining an orderly environment to facilitate learning.
- A minimum of an associate degree in education or a related field, with a strong understanding of child development.
- Relevant certifications, such as a Teacher Assistant Certification, demonstrating commitment and expertise in the field.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a classroom setting or in a role that supports educational initiatives.
- Experience with diverse student populations, showcasing an ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles.
