Librarian vacancy in Sharjah UAE for Indian

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing library services and resources to our customers, including patrons, faculty, staff and students.

This is a full-time position with a salary of AED 1200 monthly. We are open to considering foreign applicants for this role.

• Organizing library resources, including books, magazines, journals, electronic media and other material;
• Providing assistance to patrons seeking information;
• Maintaining the library’s collection of materials;
• Conducting library research;
• Cataloging new materials and updating existing catalogs;
• Developing and managing library programs;
• Advising patrons on the use of library resources; and
• Assisting with the development and implementation of library policies.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, be comfortable using computer technologies such as MS Office Suite, have strong interpersonal skills, be knowledgeable about the latest trends in library services and possess an advanced degree in Library Science or a related field.
