Teacher in Sharjah, UAE
Job Summary – This position is for a full-time teacher to join the team at an international school in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in a range of subjects, building strong relationships with staff and students, and ensuring the highest standards of education are maintained. The salary is 1000 AED per month.
Duties and Responsibilities- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons to students
- Encouraging student participation in class activities
- Developing lesson plans that are engaging and interesting
- Assessing student progress by giving tests, quizzes, or other evaluations
- Gradually increasing difficulty of curriculum as students progress through their classes
- Communicating with parents about student performance
- Maintaining classroom discipline
- Staying up to date with relevant educational trends/best practices
- Participating in staff meetings and other school events as required.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a reputable institution
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- A passion for teaching children from diverse backgrounds
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related field – Knowledge of modern educational technologies (including online learning platforms) is preferred but not required.
