Librarian - Indian Nationals

Our reputable library in Sharjah is seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team As an Indian national you will have the opportunity to work in a diverse and multicultural environment with English-speaking colleagues

• Organize and maintain the librarys collection of books journals and other materials
• Assist students and faculty with research inquiries and locating resources
• Develop and implement library programs and events to promote literacy and reading culture
• Train library staff on cataloging classification and other library procedures
• Evaluate new resources for inclusion in the library collection
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into curriculum
• Manage budget for purchasing new materials and resources

• Bachelors degree in Library Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a librarian in a school or academic setting
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with library systems such as Dewey Decimal Classification or Library of Congress Classification
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
