We are currently seeking a Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the library's collection of books, magazines, journals, and other materials. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure the library runs efficiently.

• Develop and implement library policies and procedures
• Manage the acquisition, cataloging, and circulation of materials
• Assist patrons with research needs and provide guidance on using library resources
• Plan and conduct library programs such as storytime for children or book clubs for adults
• Maintain accurate records of library transactions and compile reports as needed
• Train and supervise library staff members
• Stay up-to-date with current trends in literature and technology to enhance the library's offerings

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Proficient in using library management software
• Knowledge of current literature trends and resources
