Librarian job vacancy in Sharjah UAE for foreigners
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will have a passion for books and an interest in helping others find what they are looking for.
The primary responsibility of the Librarian is to manage and maintain our library's collection, provide reference services, support other library staff members, and assist patrons with their research needs.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in library science or a related field, as well as experience working in a library setting. They should also be organized and have excellent customer service skills. The ability to work independently is essential.
The successful candidate will need to be familiar with common library software programs such as ALEPH and ILLiad, as well as traditional cataloging methods.
We offer this position with a salary of 1700 per month and are open to considering foreign applicants.
