We are looking for a professional Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. The librarian will be responsible for managing the library and its resources, organizing the cataloging and circulation of materials, and assist in providing reference services to library patrons. You will be required to provide assistance with research requests, supervise staff, maintain library records, and provide educational programs.

• Organizing materials in the library according to established procedures
• Supervising staff members and providing guidance when needed
• Assisting patrons with research requests and other inquiries
• Creating and maintaining accurate records of library resources and circulation activities
  
  Developing educational programs or activities for children or adults
• Recommending books or other materials for purchase
• Ensuring that all patrons follow established library policies and procedures

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field is preferred
• Extensive knowledge of cataloging systems and procedures
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, public speaking skills
• Ability to use computerized library resources management systems
