An established library in Sharjah is seeking a qualified and experienced Librarian to join our team on a contract basis. Our library serves a diverse community including Malayalees and Kenyans and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
This is an urgent position with no English language requirements making it ideal for non-native speakers or those without experience.
As a Contract Librarian you will be responsible for:
- Managing the daily operations of the library including cataloging and organising materials.
- Assisting patrons with research requests.
- Developing programs to engage the community.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of library systems and technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
