Librarian - Sharjah

We are looking for an experienced Librarian to join our team in Sharjah. We offer a salary of 1100 AED per month and we are also ready to consider immigrants for the position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library at our location in Sharjah. The librarian will be responsible for organizing the library’s resources, cataloguing new materials as they arrive, providing reference services to patrons, and assisting with interlibrary loan requests. The librarian will also manage the library’s budget and keep up with current trends in library management technology.

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or related field;
• At least one year of relevant experience working as a librarian;
• Excellent organizational skills;
• Knowledge of current library management systems;
• Strong customer service skills;
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed;
• Fluency in English is required.
