We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other resources. This position is suitable for men and does not include accommodation.

• Organize and maintain the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other resources.
• Catalogue new materials using an appropriate classification system.
• Assist library patrons in finding and accessing resources.
• Develop and implement library programs and services to promote literacy and community engagement.
• Coordinate with teachers to support curriculum-based research projects.
• Maintain accurate records of library materials, loans, and returns.
• Manage the library budget and make recommendations for new purchases.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology to improve library services.

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Previous experience working as a librarian preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist diverse groups of people.
• Proficient in using computer software for cataloguing and managing library materials.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Malayalam language is an advantage.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
