Librarian job vacancy in Sharjah UAE for foreigners
Librarian Vacancy, Sharjah
We are looking for a talented and experienced Librarian for our library in Sharjah. The successful candidate will have a salary of 1400 AED per month. We are open to considering a foreigner for the position.
- Developing and managing library collections;
- Creating and maintaining an efficient cataloguing system;
- Organising and promoting library events;
- Answering enquiries from library patrons;
- Assisting in research activities as needed;
- Keeping up to date with new technologies and trends in librarianship.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Knowledge of current library software applications;
- Ability to develop creative solutions to problems.
