Female Librarian in Sharjah, UAE

As a leading academic institution in Sharjah, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Female Librarian to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for literature and be able to provide excellent customer service to our students and faculty.

• Manage the library's collection of books, periodicals, and other materials.
• Organize and classify materials according to the library's system.
• Assist students and faculty with finding and accessing resources.
• Provide instruction on how to effectively use the library's resources.
• Develop and maintain relationships with publishers and vendors for purchasing new materials.
• Manage the library's budget and ensure efficient use of funds.
• Keep accurate records of borrowed materials and overdue fines.
• Plan and organize special events, such as book clubs or author visits.
• Train and supervise library staff members.

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
• Previous experience working in a library setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cataloging systems and library databases.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
• Proficient in using technology for organizing and managing library resources.

This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. The position also includes free visa sponsorship and airfare ticket.
