The role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physics Teacher to join the Science Department at Sharjah American International School. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction, foster a positive learning environment, and ensure students achieve their full academic potential in accordance with curriculum standards.
Key responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with the Science Department to enhance the curriculum.
- Ensure a safe and productive laboratory environment for practical experiments.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Physics is mandatory.
- A recognised Teaching Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- A valid IELTS Certificate with a minimum score of 6.5 (for subject teachers).
- Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level is preferred.
