Director of Sixth Form For January 2027, Sharjah English School seeks a passionate Secondary Assistant Head:
Director of Sixth Form to join its team. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified, visionary and inspirational leader who embodies the academic excellence, inclusive ethos and future-focused ambition of the school. The post holder will provide strategic leadership for Post-16 provision.
- UK-trained teacher with recent experience in British curriculum schools
- Strong understanding of the Assistant Head and Director of Sixth Form roles, with a proven track record in a British educational context
- Qualified teacher with a minimum of two years’ teaching experience
- B.Ed or BA degree
- Proficient ICT user with awareness of innovative thinking and practice in education
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of the English National Curriculum
- Strong personal presence and high-level interpersonal skills
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and practices
- Proven track record in fostering a caring and supportive atmosphere
- Passionate educator dedicated to the well-being, social and academic progress of each student
