This school is part of an international group with several campuses across the emirate of Sharjah in the UAE, and due to ongoing growth in their school communities, they are seeking passionate and committed educators to join the team. You will be teaching a Grade 1 Primary class using the IB PYP curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and enjoyment with a strong focus on student well-being.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community, demonstrating cultural sensitivity.
- Bachelors / Post-graduate studies in education / relevant teaching subject.
- Valid teaching licence/ current teaching registration preferably from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK, US or Canada (e.g. VIT, QTS).
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at relevant age range.
- Experience with the IB PYP curriculum is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous international teaching experience, particularly within the Middle East context, would be an advantage.
- Dynamic and creative approach to teaching and motivating students.
- Flexibility and resilience required to work in a team at fast growing schools.
- Ability to relocate immediately.
