Indian Librarian in Sharjah, UAE
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Indian Librarian to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources, providing assistance to library patrons, and promoting library services and programs.
SalaryWe offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position.
City and CountryThis position is located in Sharjah, UAE.
Nationality / Location PreferenceWe are looking for Indian candidates who are currently residing in Sharjah or willing to relocate.
ExperienceNo previous experience is required for this position. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities- Organize and maintain library resources such as books, magazines, newspapers, and audio/visual materials.
- Assist library patrons with finding and borrowing materials.
- Create engaging displays and activities to promote library services and programs.
- Manage library budget and make purchasing decisions for new materials.
- Train and supervise library staff members.
- Keep track of borrowed materials and ensure they are returned on time.
- Develop partnerships with local schools or community organizations to promote the use of the library.
- Stay updated on new technologies and trends in the library field.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons.
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field.
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with different types of library resources and technology systems.
