Librarian - Umm-al-QaiwainWe are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Librarian in Umm-al-Qaiwain. This is a full time position offering a salary of 1500 AED per month. We are open to considering foreign applicants.
Responsibilities- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library's collection of resources, providing support to library users, and helping to create an inviting atmosphere for learning.
- The Librarian will also be responsible for organizing and cataloging new materials, processing requests from patrons, and helping patrons locate materials.
- To be considered for this position, applicants should have a bachelor's degree in library science or related field.
- Prior work experience in a library setting is preferred but not required.
- Applicants should be highly organized, possess strong computer skills, and have excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of online databases and catalogs is highly desirable.
