The Role

You will be teaching Humanities and Business Studies in the secondary school. Humanities from Grades 7 to 9 and Business Studies in Grade 10, leading to IB DP Business Management in the second year of the contract (28-29), as the first Grade 11 cohort will begin the IB Diploma Programme. You may be expected to teach lessons outside of your main subject to fulfil your timetable as the school grows.

In this instance, English, Maths or PE would be welcome second subjects. Leadership roles (subject and programme coordination) are possibilities in future for the right candidate.

• Bachelors / Post-graduate studies in education / relevant teaching subject.
• Valid teaching licence/ current teaching registration preferably from Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, UK, US or Canada (e.g. VIT, QTS).
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience at relevant age range.
• Experience with the IB DP curriculum in Business Management is advantageous. Previous experience with the HASS curriculum in Australia would also be beneficial.
