Assistant​/Associate Professor of Public Relations

The University of Kalba seeks a qualified faculty member in Public Relations with expertise in contemporary strategic communication, digital public relations and emerging communication technologies.

• Teach undergraduate courses in public relations and related communication disciplines.
• Integrate AI applications, social media analytics and digital communication tools into teaching.
• Supervise student projects, internships and applied research.
• Publish research in reputable peer-reviewed journals.
• Develop partnerships with government institutions, media organizations and communication agencies.
• Contribute to curriculum development, academic accreditation and quality assurance.
• Participate in departmental and university committees.

• PhD in Communication, Public Relations, Strategic Communication, or a related field, with specialization relevant to public relations from a recognized university or equalized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
• A demonstrated record of teaching excellence aligned with international standards.
• Strong research record, preferably with publications indexed in Scopus or Web of Science.
• Practical experience in public relations, corporate communication, or strategic communication is highly desirable.
• Candidates must teach, assess student work, and advise students in both Arabic and English.
