Senior Piping/Pipeline Designer

Wood is recruiting for a Senior Piping / Pipeline Designer to join our UAE Business Unit. This is a full-time office-based role in Sharjah, UAE.
Technical Skills- To prepare pipeline route studies, desktop studies based on survey inputs
- To prepare Pipeline Overall Route Maps, Key Plans, Alignment Sheets, Station Approach drawings Alignment sheets, pipeline typical construction drawings, etc. in accordance with project specifications, international cods & standards
- Preparation of Pipeline Detail / Bulk MTO
- To carry out detailed high quality site visits, pipeline route surveys and associated data collection
- To compile site visit/route survey report as required
- To co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of pipeline design/drawings development
- To provide technical support to site as required
- Familiarity with key pipeline design codes and standards
- Preparation of Piping input Drawings for On-plot / off-plot interface Areas at Process Plant
- Coordination with Topographical Contractors and Site personnel for preparation of AFC Alignment sheets
- Diploma or HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or relevant subject)
- Minimum of 8
-14 years relevant experience - Experience in FEED, Brownfield, Upstream Oil
- AutoCAD / SP3D & E3D experience required.
- Experience in Site Survey Activities and techniques.
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage.
