Job SummaryAl Marwan Group is looking for a reliable and well-organized Technical Office Engineer to supporting the successful execution of roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, particularly in roads and infrastructure construction. The Technical Office Engineer will be responsible for managing and controlling project documentation, technical submittals, quantity surveying, and providing technical support to the project team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and ITPs
- Coordinate with consultants and clients for approvals and project requirements
- Track and manage submittals, RFIs, NCRs, and project documentation
- Provide technical support to site teams and resolve construction-related issues
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved documents and standards
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and project records
- Maintain document control systems and ensure proper distribution and archiving of project documents
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 4 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE
- RAK project experience is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
- Good understanding of UAE construction standards and regulations
- Experience with FIDIC contracts is a plus
- UAE driving license preferred but not essential
- Technical submittals and approvals
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency
- Project coordination and communication
- Document control and quantity surveying
- Quality control and safety compliance
- Knowledge of U.A.E construction standards
