Responsibilities
Lead engineering execution across all disciplines – Process, Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control. Ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of engineering deliverables with full quality compliance. Coordinate with procurement, vendors, licensors, construction, and clients. Review and approve engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with international codes such as API, ASME, IEC, etc. Manage engineering progress, resources, man‑hours, and project KPIs. Resolve design interface issues through interdisciplinary coordination and model reviews.
Support construction, commissioning, and field engineering activities. Handle design changes and assess impact on cost, schedule, and scope. Lead HAZOP, SIL, and other safety review closures. Act as key engineering interface with client and stakeholders. Mentor and manage engineering teams.
- BSc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 15–20 years oil & gas / petrochemical experience
- Strong EPC / FEED / detailed engineering background
- Experience as Engineering Manager or Lead Engineer on multi-disciplinary projects
- Knowledge of API, ASME, ISO, IEC, NFPA standards
- Familiar with tools like HYSYS, HTRI, AVEVA E3D / Smart 3D / CADWorx
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Refinery project experience (CDU, VDU, hydrotreating, etc.)
- Experience with international EPC contractors or licensors
- Strong commercial and project cost awareness
