Job Requirements
- Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, strictly supported by a fully verified and attested UAE Ministry of Education (MOE) Equivalency Certificate to meet government hiring mandates.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable, hands‑on experience in the routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of high‑voltage 132kV and 33kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and associated power transformers.
- Mandatory possession of an active UAE Light Vehicle Driving License to facilitate immediate response to emergency grid faults and conduct widespread site inspections across Sharjah.
- Execute critical preventative and corrective maintenance programs on substation equipment, aggressively reducing grid downtime and ensuring stable power distribution during peak summer loads.
- Strictly enforce all Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc‑flash safety protocols during live switch gear operations, maintaining a zero‑incident safety record in compliance with UAE federal regulations.
- Rapidly diagnose and rectify complex protection relay faults during emergency night‑time call‑outs, coordinating directly with the central SCADA command center to reroute power safely.
