Job Overview
The ICT Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and verifying all ICT and ELV installations on-site to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and authority requirements. The role supports the ICT Engineer in supervising contractors, reviewing workmanship, ensuring quality control, and facilitating smooth coordination between ICT, MEP, and civil teams throughout the construction and commissioning phases.
Key Responsibilities- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering
- 3–8 years of experience in ICT/ELV installation, inspection, or supervision within construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience with:
- Structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6A, fiber optic)
- ELV systems (CCTV, ACS, PA/BGM, SMATV, Intercom)
- Data center/IT room installations
- Cable containment and routing
- Experience reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Familiarity with UAE authority requirements (DU/Etisalat, SIRA, Civil Defense).
- Previous experience in airport, aviation, or large‑scale infrastructure projects is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of ICT and ELV systems.
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA, ISO/IEC).
- Ability to read and interpret ICT/ELV drawings and schematics.
- Experience with OTDR, cable testers, and commissioning tools.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing review.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
