Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate concepts into precise drawings that reflect design intent and functionality.
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions that inform drafting work.
- Implement best practices in drafting techniques while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare presentations and visual aids that effectively communicate design ideas to clients and team members.
- Assist in coordinating with other disciplines to ensure integrated and cohesive project outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology to enhance efficiency and output quality.
- Support project management by providing timely updates on drafting progress and anticipated challenges.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in architectural or engineering drafting, showcasing a proven track record.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Solid Works, essential for creating intricate designs.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes relevant to drafting, ensuring compliance in all projects.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in drafting, critical for producing high-quality technical documents.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information both verbally and in writing, facilitating collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex designs and translate them into actionable drafting plans.
- Adept at time management, capable of handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the drafting field.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus, enhancing communication in a diverse workplace.
