We are seeking a talented and experienced Manager HSE Compliance. In this key role, you will ensure robust governance and regulatory compliance across all HSE operations by managing documentation systems, conducting audits, and enforcing adherence to international standards and local regulations. The role aims to maintain operational integrity, minimize risk, and advance a culture of continuous improvement through proactive monitoring, training, and collaboration with internal teams and contractors.

• Manage and control the HSE-MS documentation system, ensuring procedures, standards, and forms are updated, approved, and effectively implemented across all regions.
• Conduct regular PTW compliance audits, verify adherence during field activities, and initiate corrective actions for deviations or unsafe practices.
• Plan and execute internal HSE compliance audits, verification reviews, and follow-ups to ensure the timely closure of findings.
• Maintain and continuously improve compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and ISO 22301 requirements, supporting surveillance and recertification audits.
• Ensure compliance with MOHRE HSE requirements, Civil Defense regulations, Municipality rules, MOCCAE environmental regulations, and other applicable Federal and Emirate-level regulatory obligations.
• Maintain and periodically update the HSE Corporate Risk Register under the guidance and approval of the Senior Manager – Compliance.
• Review incident reports, verify evidence quality, and ensure root cause analysis (RCA) meets Etihad
  
  WE standards.
• Incorporate lessons learned into operational procedures, toolbox talk content, and awareness materials to strengthen risk control.
• Oversee contractor HSE prequalification, documentation review, and ongoing compliance monitoring, ensuring contractors meet Etihad
  
  WE HSE expectations.
• Track and maintain records for environmental compliance, including waste management, emissions-related data, spill reporting, and environmental KPIs.
• Prepare the organization for ISO audits, regulatory inspections, and authority submissions; coordinate corrective actions and responses.
• Deliver compliance awareness sessions, toolbox briefings, and refresher training to improve operational understanding of compliance obligations.
• Maintain integrity of document control, ensuring controlled access, version management, and accurate distribution of HSE documentation.
• Monitor HSE compliance trends, identify recurring deviations, and recommend preventive interventions or system improvements.
• Report compliance KPIs, non-conformities, audit status, and risk indicators to the Senior Manager – Compliance; elevate serious deviations promptly.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Engineering teams to ensure field practices remain aligned with governance requirements.
• Conduct compliance inspections, surveillance visits, and behavior-based safety (BBS) reviews across all operational regions.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Master (Preferred)
• NEBOSH; ISO Auditor preferred
• 8+ Years experience in industry and leadership, operational risk management, incident investigation, contractor governance.
• UAE/GCC regulatory frameworks
• ISO & PTW governance
