MCC Engineer Job Sharjah area,UAE/Dubai,Engineering

Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Engineer is responsible for monitoring aircraft technical status, coordinating maintenance activities, managing technical defects, and ensuring maximum fleet availability while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Airplane Technical Monitoring

Monitor the technical status of the fleet on a 24/7 basis.

Review aircraft defects, deferred defects, and technical log entries.

Assess the impact of defects on aircraft dispatch reliability and operational capability.

Ensure timely troubleshooting and corrective action for technical issues.

Maintenance Control and Coordination

Coordinate all unscheduled and AOG maintenance activities.

Provide technical support to line stations and maintenance providers.

Monitor maintenance progress and ensure timely return-to-service of aircraft.

Defect Management

Review and control MEL, CDL, and DDG applications.

Ensure all deferred defects are recorded, tracked, and rectified within regulatory limits.

Evaluate recurring defects and initiate corrective actions.

Monitor repetitive defects and reliability trends.

AOG Response Management

Lead and coordinate Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery activities.

Arrange technical support, spare parts, tooling, and manpower requirements.

Coordinate with Operations Control Center (OCC), Engineering, and Supply Chain departments during AOG events.

Minimize aircraft downtime and operational disruption.

Fleet Technical Support

Provide real-time technical advice to maintenance personnel.

Review troubleshooting data and recommend corrective actions.

Assist in resolving complex technical issues affecting flight operations.

Coordinate with OEMs and engineering specialists when required.

Maintenance Planning Interface

Coordinate with Planning and CAMO departments to ensure maintenance requirements are accomplished.

Monitor due maintenance tasks, airworthiness directives, and mandatory inspections affecting operations.

Assist in planning maintenance opportunities during operational schedules.

Reliability and Performance Monitoring

Monitor fleet reliability indicators and dispatch reliability.

Identify adverse trends and recurring technical issues.

Support reliability investigations and corrective action programs.

Provide technical reports and fleet performance summaries.

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure maintenance activities comply with:

National Aviation Authority regulations.

Operator's Approved Maintenance Program (AMP).

Maintenance Control Manual (MCM).

MEL/CDL requirements.

Continuing Airworthiness requirements.

Ensure proper documentation and maintenance records are maintained.

Technical Records and Reporting

Review technical logs and maintenance documentation.

Prepare technical occurrence reports and defect summaries.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance control decisions.

Support investigations into technical incidents and operational disruptions.

Communication and Coordination

Act as the primary engineering focal point during daily operations.

CAMO

Line Maintenance

Base Maintenance

Supply Chain

Participate in daily operational and maintenance meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering.
ICAO/EASA/FAA Aircraft Maintenance License (B1/B2 preferred); A1/A2 is minimum requirement.
Minimum 3–5 years of airline or MRO maintenance experience.
Having experience in Maintenance Control Center (MCC), Line Maintenance, or Technical Services will be an advantage.
