Element HR Consulting is hiring for a client in the Energy, Offshore, Marine, and Industrial Solutions sector.
We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient Senior Sales Coordinator to support the sales and business development team in delivering end-to-end sales coordination, proposal management, and customer support for mechanical engineering products serving the energy, oil & gas, offshore, marine, and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate sales activities and provide administrative support to the sales and business development teams.
- Prepare and manage technical and commercial quotations, proposals, tenders, and bid documentation.
- Review customer inquiries, RFQs, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure accurate submissions.
- Liaise with suppliers, procurement teams, logistics providers, and customers to obtain pricing, lead times, and technical information.
- Maintain accurate records of sales opportunities, quotations, contracts, and customer communications.
- Track order status from quotation through delivery and ensure timely customer updates.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasting reports, pipeline analysis, and performance dashboards using Microsoft Excel.
- Support the sales team in contract administration, documentation, and project coordination.
- Monitor inventory availability and coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities within the energy, offshore, marine, and industrial sectors.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Coordination, Technical Sales Support, Inside Sales, or Commercial Coordination.
- Experience working with mechanical engineering products, industrial equipment, lifting solutions, wire ropes, rigging equipment, cranes, offshore equipment, pumps, valves, or similar industrial products.
- Strong understanding of technical specifications, engineering drawings, datasheets, and commercial documentation.
- Experience supporting customers within Oil & Gas, Energy, Offshore, Marine, EPC, Industrial, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- INDEX-MATCH
- Data Analysis
- Sales Reporting
- Forecasting
- Dashboard Creation
- Conditional Formatting
- Data Validation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or equivalent is preferred.
