Job SummaryThe Component Rebuild Center (CRC) Supervisor is responsible for supervising component rebuild operations within the Heavy Machinery & Equipment Workshop. The role oversees engine, transmission, and hydraulic component rebuilds while ensuring quality, productivity, safety, efficient resource utilization, and timely completion of jobs.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily component rebuild activities.
- Assign work and monitor technician performance.
- Diagnose complex mechanical and hydraulic issues.
- Ensure rebuilt components meet OEM and quality standards.
- Coordinate warranty repairs and Product Support Program (PSP) activities.
- Plan manpower, tools, and workshop resources.
- Monitor job progress and turnaround time.
- Maintain workshop records and reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and technician development.
Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and component rebuild operations.
- Supervisory experience in a heavy equipment workshop is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and component rebuilds.
- Experience with OEM diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and warranty/PSP processes.
- Good understanding of workshop operations, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
- Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
