Piping Engineer

Role Overview: Orbit ISS are looking for a Piping Engineer for a short-term project (23 months extendable). The candidate must be ready to join immediately if selected. You will handle the design analysis and supervision of piping systems ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare piping layouts, isometrics, material specifications and BOMs.
- Perform stress analysis, pressure drop calculations and load analysis.
- Ensure designs comply with ASME B31.3/B31.1, ISO and other relevant standards.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil and electrical teams.
- Review vendor data drawings and support procurement, fabrication and installation.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure quality compliance.
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 37 years of experience in piping design and engineering.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, PDMS, Smart Plant 3D, CAESAR II or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs and isometric drawings.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
