Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Planner - Roads or Infrastructure Experience to support our road and infrastructure projects in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah (RAK). The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and controlling road and infrastructure works to ensure timely and cost‑effective project delivery in compliance with project requirements and UAE regulations. The Planning Engineer will work closely with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to manage schedules, monitor progress, assess risks, and support cost control and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage baseline schedules and critical path analysis
- Prepare, update, and monitor schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Integrate project packages and manage interdependencies
- Identify delays and propose mitigation plans
- Track actual progress against baseline schedules
- Prepare progress reports, variance analysis, and forecasts
- Conduct risk assessments and perform 'what-if' analysis
- Support cost tracking and forecasting with QS teams
- Assist in EoT and claims analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of core planning experience in roads and infrastructure projects in the UAE
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel
- Knowledge of UAE construction standards
- AutoCAD knowledge preferred
