Perform accurate topographic alignment and setting-out surveys for infrastructure projects specifically focusing on strong roads highways drainage networks and sewerage pipelines strong Establish horizontal and vertical control points benchmarks and reference markers across the project site Execute accurate invert level and slope measurements critical for gravity-flow drainage and sewerage systems Operate surveying equipment including Total Stations GPS GNSS receivers Digital Levels and Auto Levels Prepare detailed survey data maps cross-sections and longitudinal profiles using AutoCAD Civil 3D or relevant survey software Verify site measurements against project drawings specifications and BOQ items to ensure strict compliance Perform as-built surveys during and upon completion of works preparing accurate as-built drawings for client submission Coordinate closely with site engineers project managers and subcontractors to maintain alignment and construction schedules.
Education:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Land Surveying, or a related technical discipline.
Experience:3 to 7+ years of hands‑on experience as a Land Surveyor dedicated to roads, stormwater drainage, and sewerage infrastructure projects.
TechnicalSkills:
- High proficiency with Total Station, GPS/RTK, and Digital Levels.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant data processing software.
- Strong expertise in calculating earthwork volumes, levels, gradients, and pipe invert levels.
Competencies:
- Deep understanding of civil construction drawings, alignment sheets, and structural profiles.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurement, and problem-solving skills on site.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary site teams.
