Identify discrepancies in the inputs and communicate details to the lead engineer.
Prepare design calculations following project specifications, codes, and design guidelines.
Create connection designs and sketches for given loads.
Verify engineering drawings for the correct interpretation of design details.
Develop spreadsheets for repetitive calculations and validate with manual calculations.
Propose alternate, cost-effective technical proposals and suitable construction materials.
Supervise construction and fabrication activities through random site/yard visits and report findings.
