To develop and coordinate detailed electrical BIM models, ensuring accurate coordination across MEP disciplines for building construction projects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop 3D BIM models for electrical systems including containment, cable routing and lighting layouts.
- Conduct clash detection and coordination with mechanical, plumbing and structural BIM models.
- Prepare and update coordinated shop drawings and installation drawings.
- Attend BIM coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts in a timely manner.
- Maintain model accuracy and version control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the technical and site teams with model-derived information for construction.
- 5+ years UAE/GCC experience in BIM modeling for electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and Navisworks for clash detection.
- Strong knowledge of containment, cable routing and shop drawings.
- Experience coordinating with mechanical, plumbing and structural BIM teams.
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
