- Design and optimize HVAC systems for commercial and industrial applications, ensuring energy efficiency and compliance with local codes.
- Conduct detailed load calculations using software tools to determine heating and cooling requirements for various building types.
- Lead the development and review of technical specifications and drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred for advanced roles.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in HVAC design and project management, preferably in commercial or industrial sectors.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable to validate technical expertise.
- Experience with HVAC design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and energy modeling tools to create efficient system designs.
