- Develop and manage complex 3D BIM models for mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and design intent.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to coordinate mechanical systems and resolve clashes proactively.
- Generate detailed 2D drawings, schedules, and reports from BIM models for construction documentation and fabrication.
- Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks or similar software, identifying and mitigating potential conflicts before they impact construction.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and BIM modeling within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP for creating and managing mechanical BIM models.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design principles.
