Junior Estimation Engineer; Mechanical/Water treatment

Responsibilities:
- Review and understand mechanical equipment drawings and layouts used in water treatment systems (e.g., pump stations, flanges, filtration units, piping & valve arrangements).
- Perform material and quantity take-offs based on approved drawings and technical specifications using AutoCAD/PDF documents.
- Prepare cost estimations, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and support proposal preparation.
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to verify material requirements.
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial estimation documents.
- Update and maintain cost databases, supplier quotations, and estimation templates.
- Ensure all estimation work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within deadlines.
- Remain accessible and available during holidays or post work for any emergency work requirement as instructed by the team lead.
- Experience in BOQ preparation with strong ability to interpret mechanical drawings used in water treatment industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment used in the water treatment industry such as flanges, pumps etc.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel with good communication and coordination skills
- Good to have AutoCAD skills
