Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems or civil structures ensuring they meet safety and performance standards
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate project viability and sustainability
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D models for prototypes and construction plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical or civil components into larger projects
- Perform simulations and analyses to optimize designs for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Oversee construction processes and ensure compliance with design specifications and regulations
- Prepare technical documentation including project reports specifications and manuals
- Conduct on-site inspections and testing to monitor project progress and address any issues
- Implement and maintain quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle
- Stay updated with industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory changes to enhance project delivery
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in mechanical design or civil construction projects
- Experience with industry-standard software like AutoCAD, Solid Works, or Revit, showcasing technical proficiency
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to collaborate with diverse teams
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills
- Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of mentoring junior engineers and guiding project teams
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and regulations, reflecting a commitment to environmentally responsible engineering
- Willingness to travel for site inspections and project management, ensuring hands‑on involvement in project delivery
