Product Engineer â Raster & Imagery

The raster and imagery software development team in Sharjah R&D Center is actively seeking applications for a dynamic challenging and exciting Product Engineering position where candidates can apply their remote sensing education and experience to help the Software Products team design test and release best in class image analysis software this role you will work with colleagues across Software Development in the design testing documenting and release of new capabilities in our products.

This is an exciting opportunity to focus on imagery across multiple modalities including Hyperspectral Multispectral Radar Drone and other remotely sensed data.

• Test and document image analysis capability for multiple image modalities across ArcGIS Pro ArcGIS Enterprise on Windows and Linux and ArcGIS Enterprise for Kubernetes
• Contribute innovative software designs that are highly intuitive to support image oriented analytical workflows
• Support software developers building software for performing GIS workflows
• Support the development and operation of automated and manual QA tests on standard operating procedures (SOPs) image quality metric evaluations and regression testing

• 1 years of experience in quality assurance test strategies or test automation
• Knowledge in one or more of these disciplines: remote sensing image processing photogrammetry and image analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelors in geography engineering remote sensing photogrammetry or related field

• Experience in Python scripting is an added benefit
• Familiarity with multiple image modalities
