Responsible for financial statements, financial reporting, budgets, tax provisions and fulfilling tax requirements for the Group. Analyses the Group’s financial activities for the purpose of assisting the Board and Top Management take the right financial decisions.

Responsible for providing commercial input for fuel related decisions, conducting feasibility studies for new routes and complying with requirements for financial and taxation audits.

Responsible for Oracle System Implementation and ongoing control & management.

Support Director - Finance in recommending qualitative and numerical analysis necessary for corporate decisions, strategic planning, controlling and/or reducing costs.

• Oversees the Groups’ financial accounting, consolidation, monitoring, and reporting of systems thoroughly for the optimal achievement of timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year end closure.
• Contributes to the development of Group Level financial control policies, procedures, and guidelines across all responsible functions.
• Partners with Airline Hubs & Subsidiary Company’s leaders to assist them to prepare the annual budget. Consolidates and controls Group Level annual budgets by conducting financial reviews; analysing the Company’s financial activities and history versus budget for management to take right financial decisions.
• Partners with Stakeholders such as Sales, Network Planning, Revenue Management and others to conduct feasibility studies and business analysis for the purpose of evaluating new routes and destinations in the different regions.
• Provides commercial input based on financial analysis for fuel related decisions. Employs proper forecasting and risk assessment of all influencing market conditions on both short/long term aspects to secure Company’s business needs and protect its interests.
• Oversees the Group’s direct and indirect tax management, reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

• Oversees internal & external Financial & Tax Audit reviews for Airline and Subsidiary companies, ensuring smooth inspection as per adopted procedures and compliance with audit requirements. Ensures that corrective measures are implemented based on findings as and necessary.
• Spearheads the implementation of Financial System across all entities in line with project plans and timelines for all phases, with an aim to increase efficiency and standardization of functions across the Group.
• Manages the skills and performance of the team with focus on knowledge sharing, process improvement as well as career enhancement. Motivates, coaches, mentors and monitors the overall performance of the team members to achieve high standards in delivering results.
• Identify KPIs for the respective team members; ensures his/her subordinates are fully aware and knowledgeable of their targets. Provides on-going support and supervision to the team members to assist them achieve their goals and bridge any gaps identified. Conducts regular reviews and assessment for the function-related entire work flow and operating procedures to enhance the process and maximize productivity.

• Chartered Accountant/CPA, holder of MBA in Finance or Accounting from a recognized university.
• Capable of using technology systems and tools mainly finance related ones.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
  - Advanced Excel, Access, Word, Power Point skills, Internet and Web Search.
• Cost Control, Compliance, Budgeting and Auditing certificates and trainings are an added value and some may be treated as conditional for this role.
