Role Description The Hairstylist role is a full-time, on-site position based at Hadeqat Al Majaz Gents Salon in Sharjah. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing haircuts, styling, and basic hair treatments according to client preferences and salon standards. The Hairstylist consults with clients to understand desired looks, recommends suitable styles and products, and maintains high levels of hygiene and safety at all workstations.
The role involves welcoming clients, managing appointment flow, and ensuring a positive and professional salon experience. The Hairstylist also supports the overall presentation of the salon by keeping tools sanitized, managing inventory for hair care products, and collaborating with colleagues to maintain a smooth operation.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Hair Styling and Hair Care, including modern and classic cuts, basic treatments, and styling techniques.
- Candidates should possess foundational Cosmetology knowledge, with an understanding of hair types, scalp health, and product application.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to consult with clients, understand their needs, and provide a welcoming experience.
- Relevant professional salon experience in a gents salon or barbershop setting is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Sharjah, including weekends or evening shifts as required by the salon schedule.
- Attention to hygiene, safety standards, and cleanliness in all aspects of salon work.
- Certificate or diploma in hairdressing, cosmetology, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to salon procedures and style guidelines.
