Audiologist

Responsibilities

• Take detailed and relevant case history of the patients
• Audiological evaluation for patients with hearing and vestibular symptoms
• Basic Audiological evaluation including Pure Tone Audiometry, Speech Audiometry, Free field Audiometry, Impedence Audiometry, Eustachian Tube function assessment, Cochlear and retrocochlear assessments, Tinnitus evaluation
  - Pitch and Loudness matching.
• Advanced Audiological evaluation including Auditory Brainstem Response Audiometry (A ) for threshold Tracking and Site of Lesion, Oto acoustic Emissions (TEOAE and DPOAE), Screening of neonates for hearing, Positional Vestibular Tests and Canalith Repositioning maneuver for Positional Vertigo.
• Advanced vestibular evaluation including Electrocochleography, Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP), Videonystagmography (VNG).
• Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families.
• Answer questions about audiological procedures from within the hospital, other hospitals and the general public.
• Routine subjective calibration of audio‑vestibular equipment.
• Report and document the results of various audiological procedures.

Qualification

Bachelors in Science (Audiology)

Preferably Masters in Science (Audiology)

3 years of experience
