Responsibilities
- Take detailed and relevant case history of the patients
- Audiological evaluation for patients with hearing and vestibular symptoms
- Basic Audiological evaluation including Pure Tone Audiometry, Speech Audiometry, Free field Audiometry, Impedence Audiometry, Eustachian Tube function assessment, Cochlear and retrocochlear assessments, Tinnitus evaluation
- Pitch and Loudness matching. - Advanced Audiological evaluation including Auditory Brainstem Response Audiometry (A ) for threshold Tracking and Site of Lesion, Oto acoustic Emissions (TEOAE and DPOAE), Screening of neonates for hearing, Positional Vestibular Tests and Canalith Repositioning maneuver for Positional Vertigo.
- Advanced vestibular evaluation including Electrocochleography, Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potential (VEMP), Videonystagmography (VNG).
- Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families.
- Answer questions about audiological procedures from within the hospital, other hospitals and the general public.
- Routine subjective calibration of audio‑vestibular equipment.
- Report and document the results of various audiological procedures.
Qualification
Bachelors in Science (Audiology)
Preferably Masters in Science (Audiology)
Experience
3 years of experience
Knowledge /
Technical Skills
Basic computer knowledge
Personal Abilities /
Competencies
Responsible, hardworking, trustworthy, excellent in personal & professional relationship and has a keen interest to learn
License / Registration
Valid MOH License
