Job Purpose

Responsible for advising and provide guidance on healthy eating, nutrition to individuals or groups. Assess dietary needs, develop personalized meal plans, educate employees on nutrition principles, and monitor their progress towards achieving health goals.

Key Result Responsibilities
  • Implements weight reduction programs as per the GCAA high BMI protocol.
  • Create a clinical nutrition treatment plan for Air Arabia employees and document patient progress.
  • Supervise the uplift meals of Air Arabia airplanes from the nutritional aspects.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ dietary habits, health conditions, and nutritional needs to develop individualized nutrition plans.
  • Provide dietary counseling and education to clients, offering guidance on healthy eating habits, portion control, and nutritional requirements based on individual assessments.
  • Develop customized meal plans that align with clients’ nutritional goals, taking into account dietary restrictions, allergies, and cultural preferences.
  • Provide ongoing support and adjustments to nutrition plans as needed.
  • Educate clients on the importance of nutrition in preventing and managing chronic diseases, such as diabetes, cardiovascular conditions and obesity.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to provide nutritional support to patients with specialized dietary needs.
  • Assist clients in identifying and modifying unhealthy eating behaviors, promoting long-term behavior changes for sustainable health outcomes.
  • Stay updated on the latest nutritional research and trends, incorporating evidence-based practices into dietary recommendations.
  • Deliver engaging and informative nutrition workshops, or one‑on‑one consultations to educate employees on healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
  • Create and distribute educational materials on nutrition and wellness.
  • Collaborate with on‑site fitness facilities, cafeteria services, and external health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to employee well‑being.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of client assessments, progress notes, and interventions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills through continuing education, attending conferences, and participating in relevant workshops.
  • Provide administrative support to medical centre as and when required.
  • Performs any other duties as advised by the respective Line Manager.

    Qualifications (Academic, training, languages)

    Minimum bachelor’s degree in nutrition

    Work Experience

    2-3 years of experience including internship, working as registered nutritionist in hospital / clinics / medical centres
