Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients ensuring adherence to established protocols
- Obtain and analyze patient medical histories and relevant information to tailor ultrasound procedures to individual needs
- Utilize advanced imaging technologies to capture detailed images of organs tissues and blood flow ensuring precision and accuracy
- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment performing routine calibrations and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance
- An associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program is essential.
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or imaging center setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in various ultrasound modalities such as abdominal, obstetric, and vascular sonography is crucial.
